Grand Port to Sunset — 1-Day Island Experience
By booking this tour, guests agree to the following terms and conditions:
Booking & Group Size
- This is a small-group experience limited to a maximum of 4 guests.
- Bookings are confirmed only after payment or booking confirmation through the website.
- The tour operator reserves the right to decline or reschedule bookings if the group size, timing, weather, or partner availability cannot be safely managed.
Tour Timing & Itinerary
- The tour normally starts at 08:00 at Old Grand Port and ends after the beach sunset experience.
- The itinerary includes Old Grand Port, coral farm visit, local lunch in Mahébourg, Port Louis Market, Caudan Waterfront and a beach sunset stop.
- Exact timings may vary depending on traffic, weather, partner availability, sea conditions and guest pace.
- The coral farm visit is subject to weather, lagoon conditions and partner availability. If the coral farm cannot be visited, an alternative cultural, coastal or conservation-related activity may be offered.
Meeting Point & Transport
- Guests must arrive at the agreed meeting point on time.
- Late arrival may reduce the duration of the tour or may be treated as a no-show.
- Transport during the tour is included only as described in the booking details.
- Hotel pick-up and drop-off are included only if specifically mentioned or selected at the time of booking.

- Towels, swimwear, sunscreen, hats or sunglasses
Guest Responsibility
- Guests are responsible for bringing suitable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, personal medication and any personal items needed for the day.
- Guests must inform the tour operator in advance of any allergies, food restrictions, medical conditions, mobility limitations or special requirements.
- Guests participate in walking, market visits, coastal areas and lagoon-related activities at their own discretion and must follow safety instructions at all times.
Safety & Environmental Conduct
- Guests must follow all instructions given by the guide and coral farm partner.
- Guests must not touch, remove, damage or disturb coral, marine life, plants, historical features or local property unless specifically authorised by the guide or partner.
- Respectful behaviour toward local communities, vendors, guides and partners is required throughout the experience.
- The tour operator reserves the right to stop a guest from participating if their behaviour is unsafe, disrespectful or harmful to the environment.
Weather & Changes
- Mauritius weather can change quickly. The tour may continue in light rain if conditions are safe.
- In case of heavy rain, unsafe sea conditions, cyclonic weather, road disruption or other circumstances beyond control, the tour may be rescheduled, modified or cancelled.
- If a key activity is unavailable, the operator may replace it with a suitable alternative of similar value and experience.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the tour may receive a full refund, excluding any bank or platform fees.
- Cancellations made 24 to 72 hours before the tour may receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour are non-refundable.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
- If the tour is cancelled by the operator due to unsafe conditions or unavoidable circumstances, guests may be offered a new date or a refund.
Food & Dietary Requirements
- Lunch is included as part of the tour.
- Guests must communicate dietary restrictions or allergies at least 48 hours before the tour.
- While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary needs, the tour operator cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Photos & Media
- Photos may be taken during the experience for guest memories and promotional purposes.
- Guests who do not wish to appear in photos or videos must inform the guide before the tour starts.
- Guests may take personal photos, but must respect local people, private property and partner instructions.
Insurance & Liability
- Guests are strongly advised to have their own travel insurance.
- The tour operator is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
- The operator is not liable for delays, changes or cancellations caused by weather, traffic, road closures, partner availability, sea conditions, government restrictions or other events beyond reasonable control.
Children & Minors
- Children may join only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and behaviour of minors throughout the tour.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking, guests confirm that they have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
